Pride of ownership shines through in this welcoming one bedroom condo. This condo has a tasteful mountain style this is the perfect place for a couple or small family to get away. The queen bed in the bedroom and the living room offers a queen pull out sofa bed with a Tempur-pedic mattress topper perfect for the kids. The wood burning fireplace ensures warmth.  Well-appointed and fully equipped galley kitchen has everything you need to eat in.  Ample bar and table seating finish off the living space. Please note that Wi-Fi is available, but limited (the building has a shared network).  Shared, outdoor patio with propane BBQ, table and chairs - *summer only*

Condo is closest to the outside door on the first floor. It is just a short stroll over to get fitted out for cross country gear from the nice people at the adventure center. The unit is a bit quirky in terms of lights and heaters but they all work. WiFi connection was fine. Decorations follow the bear theme. We counted 35 bears but then the painting over the sofa blew our minds away from its depiction of some sort of Wiccan bear jamboree.

Nice space - worked well for our purposes. Missed not having a few ceramic coffee mugs, but all else worked well and was convenient. We left the space as clean as we found it and appreciated the towels and linens. Thank You

The Bear Valley Vacation Rentals team made us feel like we were welcomed into their secret home. We waited too long to find a place to stay while some of us took an avalanche training course. BVVR accommodated our needs quickly and efficiently in 1 of 2 remaining condos. They interrupted Kai’s vacation and Ellen’s dinner to get a duplicate condo key to us after we’d locked ourselves out. Such service. And, the Bear Valley locals were so welcoming and accommodating. We’ll be back for downhill and cross-country skiing and will make sure we stay in Bear Valley Village. Thank you for inviting us to join your family. Bring back the telefest!

The main advantage is that this in a prime location! You are right in Bear Valley "Village", and NO NEED for a snow mobile to access the house (as opposed to other houses we've rented in the past!) Parking is right there in front. This is a 2nd floor unit - a set of easy, indoor staircases. The unit is nice. it fits 4 people comfortably. A main master bedroom with a door (for the parents), and a pull out couch for the kids (2 kids). 1 bathroom, with an outside sink. There is a small kitchen-very adequate for a 3-night stay. Full size fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and toaster. Just enough cookware and dishes to eat dinner with every night. Our kids loved playing outside in the snow, and I can watch them from the window. Very nice rental!

The community/neighborhood as a whole is a diamond in the rough and it was great to get off the grid into such a beautiful area.

My wife and I really enjoyed being in the village so close to everything for our week in July. The Tamarack 2 condo worked well for us. It’s not fancy but it’s clean and we slept well and it was quiet and peaceful and we had everything we needed. The office staff was great with answering questions and helping with miscellaneous stuff. We plan to come up again next year.

Clean and tastefully decorated condo. Previous guest installed Parental Lock on TV preventing all but a couple of stations, which was annoying, but we weren't there to watch TV. We liked Bear Valley so much we purchased a similar condo.

Tamarack Condo 2 was perfect for our needs. It was clean, cute and cozy and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to make our meals. We had enough towels, sheets and blankets and it was just enough room for our family of 4. We loved the rustic "bear" touches and our kids loved making fires in the fireplace. It was the perfect place for our winter ski getaway.
